Obviously! this is the first hurdle that you face whether in pen-paper picture or online, selection process varies from recruiter to recruiter but they follow some general pattern to filter-out the candidates through written test.
How to clear written test?
Answer is simple: your first hurdle is simply cleared only through practice practice and practice, so another question raises immediately that how to prepare? easily....
There is some general pattern that each recruiter follow, generally a written test consists of four sections commonly they are
- Test Of General Awareness
- Test Of General English
- Test Of Quantitative Aptitude
- Test of Reasoning Ability
if you can study and master the above four test sections, you can appear in any exam and come out with cheers whether it may be a Bank Exam-(such as Probationary officer Or Clerks), a PSU recruitment exam-(such as SAIL/GAIL/ONGC/BHEL),a management exam-(such as MAT/CAT).
All these exams invariable consists of above four test sections, to illustrate this I m showing some popular exam follow this same pattern below:
SBI PO (Probationary Officer):
This is conducted in order of phases. It contains two phases comprising of Group discussion and Interview rounds.
LIC ADO (Apprentice Development officer):
This test consists of Two papers in a duration of 2 hours
LIC AAO (Assistant Administrative officer):
This test consists of section from 1 to 3 which is related some what to LIC ADO
As you can find from above popular tests that written test is common, so what you should do is to prepare for these tests section by section and step by step, at first prepare for test of General Awareness and General English so on and so forth.
If you study and master in above four sections you will definitely beat the target with a 200% percent confirmation.
In addition to the written tests some recruiters conduct technical tests I m will give all details in upcoming post Technical Tests
