Pattern of Tests

       Selection process of each recruiter may varies from one another-some include GD's, Some include HR interviews in addition to Technical Interviews. One only recruits through Managerial Interviews.
The purpose of this post is to give You brief idea about the pattern of competitive exams whose follow the General pattern, So studying for  different exams with General syllabus is a plus point to you. Below I listed some of those exams follow the same pattern.
 
SBI Clerks:
 This test consists of five papers
  • General Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Market Aptitude/Computer Awareness
SBI PO (Probationary Officer):
This is conducted in order of phases. It contains two phases comprising of Group discussion and Interview rounds.


LIC ADO (Apprentice Development officer):
This test consists of  Two papers in a duration of 2 hours

LIC AAO (Assistant Administrative officer):
This test consists of section from 1 to 3 which is related some what to LIC ADO

 
Civil Services: 
This test consists of two stages one is completely objective and another is descriptive.

As you can identify from above tests the selection process varies from one recruiter to another but they follow some general format for the selection, So preparing for one may help you for another test.
