About Indian Navy:-
The Indian Navy (Also called as भारतीय नौ सेना, Bharatiya Nau Sena) is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), usually a four-star officer in the rank of admiral, commands the navy. The Indian Navy can trace its lineage back to the 17th-century East India Company's Marine; it succeeded the Royal Indian Navy, which was renamed in 1950 after India became a republic. The 17th-century Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Bhosle is considered as the 'Father Of The Indian Navy'.
Though the primary objective of the navy is to secure the nation's maritime borders, India also uses its navy to enhance its international relations through joint exercises, port visits and humanitarian missions, including disaster relief. In recent years, the Indian Navy has undergone rapid modernisation to replace its ageing equipment currently in service, this is often seen as part of "India's drive" to develop blue-water capabilities and enhance its position in the Indian Ocean region. As of 2014, the Indian Navy has a strength of 58,350 personnel and a large operational fleet consisting of two aircraft carriers, one amphibious transport dock, 9 Landing ship tanks, 8 destroyers, 15 frigates, one nuclear-powered attack submarine, 14 conventionally-powered attack submarines, 24 corvettes, 7 mine countermeasure vessels, 32 patrol vessels, 4 fleet tankers and various auxiliary vessels.

Aptitude Tests(part I)

Obviously! this is the first hurdle that you face whether in pen-paper picture or online, selection process varies from recruiter to  recruiter but they follow some general pattern to filter-out the candidates through written test.
How to clear  written test?
Answer is simple: your first hurdle is simply cleared only through practice practice and practice, so another question raises immediately that how to prepare? easily....
There is some general pattern that each recruiter follow, generally a written test consists of four sections commonly they are
  • Test Of General Awareness
  • Test Of General English
  • Test Of Quantitative Aptitude
  • Test of Reasoning Ability
if you can study and master the above four test sections, you can appear in any exam and come out with cheers whether it may be a Bank Exam-(such as Probationary officer Or Clerks), a PSU recruitment exam-(such as SAIL/GAIL/ONGC/BHEL),a management exam-(such as MAT/CAT).
All these exams invariable consists of above four test sections, to illustrate this I m showing some popular exam follow this same pattern below:
SBI PO (Probationary Officer):
This is conducted in order of phases. It contains two phases comprising of Group discussion and Interview rounds.
LIC ADO (Apprentice Development officer):
This test consists of  Two papers in a duration of 2 hours
LIC AAO (Assistant Administrative officer):
This test consists of section from 1 to 3 which is related some what to LIC ADO
As you can find from above popular tests that written test is common, so what you should do is to prepare for these tests section by section and step by step, at first prepare for test of General Awareness and General English  so on and so forth.
If you study and master in above four sections you will definitely beat the target with a 200% percent confirmation.

Sandy and Victor, both English teachers, lived abroad for many years, first in Saudi Arabia, and then in the Far East, where, like many experiencing travelers, they suffered from culture shock.

Recently they returned to the United States and experienced something called reverse culture shock.  They had lived abroad for a very long time, and everything back home was new for them.

The cars seemed so big, and the people did too.  Sandy and Victor had forgotten how many overweight Americans there were.  But everyone was obsessed with dieting; people thought about it all the time.  Every magazine seemed to have an article about dieting, but not many people seemed disciplined enough to follow a diet.  Most were disappointed dieters.

When Sandy and Victor had first arrived in Saudi Arabia, it was surprising to see the Arab women covered from head to toe.  Sandy was equally shocked when she returned to the USA and saw women wearing hair rollers in public.

And both Sandy and Victor were frustrated because they didn’t have a car.  When they lived abroad, transportation had never been a problem, but the North American city that they lived in had very poor public transportation.  Sometimes the couple had to wait an hour for the bus.  It was very annoying.  And the bus stop was almost a mile from the apartment, so they had to walk a lot, too.  At the end of the day, they were exhausted.

It’s difficult to return home after being in another country for a while.  At first, Sandy and Victor were worried that they had a negative attitude about everything, but they felt relieved to hear about reverse culture shock.  It will take time for them to feel comfortable living here again.

Job Channels

Job searching in olden days is only through paper media. Only few people use internet media for their job searching and at earlier times internet is at the beginning stage. Now  a days internet is prime media where recruiters and jobseekers comes on one platform to fulfill their purpose.
So you are fortunate and say thanks to Internet scenario in view of job search. In this section I listed the some ways used by recruiters before and now.

Job Recruitment At Olden Days: I think these type of recruitment process are not used by recruiters, very few follow them.
  • Pool Campus Interview Jobs
  • Campus Interview Jobs
  • Walk-In's
  • Common Recruitment Tests
Job Recruitment Now a Days:  These are often used by recruiters
  • Based On Job Sites
  • Referral  Jobs
Pool Campus Interview Jobs:
This job placement program is conducted within a group of colleges. And in this job is given as an off campus placement.

This job placement program is for students from other institutions. This program will be conducted in a common place (it may be in a college or in some public place) where students from different colleges will take part
Campus Interviews Jobs:
After completion of graduation every student turn their focus on campus interviews. Campus interviews are held at own institute where you had studied. If your have good reputation in the view of recruiter this option is best suited for you. The selection process of recruitment varies from recruiter to recruiter  but  they follow the some round which are common in campus interviews like written test, proficiency test, technical round, group discussions and personal interview followed psychometric tests.
Walk-In's:
Walk-In interviews are generally use internet media or print media(newspapers). As the name suggests you just need to Walk-In to the selection process.
Interviewer may not heard all about your institute, so the selection entirely depends upon your resume.
Resume is the only way that you sell your skills and strengths to the recruiter.

Minimum things to carry

  1. 2 or 3 passport photographs
  2. 2 or 3 copies of resume
  3. previous pay slips
Common Recruitment Tests:
These type selection are conducted by government sector like UPSC,SSC,CIVIL SERVICES as well as public sector undertakings like NTPC,IOC etc., .They all depend up on electronic media and print media.
This option for a beginner is good because these sectors doesn't demand experience and tests are almost common for all types of tests.

Based On Job Sites:
This is right platform for recruiters as well aspirants, now a days many of the job sites provide aspirants many ways to find job through means of E-mail, SMS, android based applications. Current updates are send through SMS as well E-mails on e easily make himself by registering in the  top job sites make so easy to find a job. I have listed below some top job sites
